Some of my picks from Gamescom 2024 that I am most hyped about!

Trying to learn 3D animations
Been trying to learn basics of animations in blender and wow it is actually much harder than I thought it would be, even when using animations from Mixamo! But that feeling when you have something that actually doesn’t look horrible!

Screenshot Sunday: Alan Wake II
Alan Wake II is such a visual feast, as messed up as the world in the game is, I’m loving every minute of it!

Screenshot Sunday: Starfield
I have to say I love Starfield, the feel and sense for space exploration is something I have been dreaming about since I was a teenager!

While the world was inventive, they didn’t fully get too inventive with the action or Ant-man’s powers. ★★★✭☆

A Man Called Otto
It struck such nice balance between being too light and too heavy. It did treat the bad moments with respect and with humour. As someone who was more like Otto but later became more like his neighbours, this movie both gave me hope and encouragement to be something positive in peoples lives. ★★★★☆

Knock at the Cabin
I was intrigued by the premise and was worried that I wouldn’t like it, but it was a well made as it could have been. I loved the story and its conclusion and what it says about our world. Sure the mystery could have been little more, well mysterious but overall didn’t hinder the enjoyment.…
